Jennifer Pasternack, M.D., Ph.D., Joins the Center for Personal & Family Growth

ERIE – Jennifer Pasternack, M.D., Ph.D., psychiatrist, has joined the medical staff of the Center for Personal & Family Growth starting summer of 2009. Pasternack joins CPFG after serving in many different settings as staff psychiatrist for Deerfield Behavioral Helath of Warren. Most recently Pasternack has served as medical director of the geropsychiatric unit at Corry Memorial Hospital while continuing her consulting work at Titusville Area Hospital and seeing outpatients in the Deerfield Corry office.

"Dr. Pasternack brings over ten years of clinical experience as a psychiatrist and will be an integral part of our adult clinical team."

Pasternack is a general adult psychiatrist with particular interests in treating trauma survivors and in working collaboratively with primary care physicians. In addition to providing direct patient care, Pasternack is also a lecturer and psychotherapy supervisor for psychiatric residents at Millcreek Community Hospital. She is Board Certified in General Psychiatry and has completed additional training in EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

Pasternack completed her residency in psychiatry at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA. She completed her medical degree and her doctorate at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH.
